KEYNOTE SPEAKER

DR. TIMOTHY TREMONT

Dr. Tremont is Professor and Chair- man of the Department of Orthodontics at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, South Carolina. He received his DMD from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine and Certificate in Orthodontics and MS from the University at Buffalo. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics. Dr. Tremont’s academic focus is on diagnosis, treatment planning and clinical strategies, and has an avid interest in surgical orthodontics. Known for his patient and effective teaching style, he lectures internationally, and regularly provides courses on subject matter relating to orthodontics and orthognathic surgery.

PAT RICALDE, DDS, MD, FACS

Dr. Ricalde is an oral and maxillofacial surgeon, specializing in maxillofacial reconstruction. In addition to Board Certification, she is a Fellowship Certified Pediatric Craniofacial Surgeon with specialty interest in congenital anomalies and special needs. Dr. Ricalde is the author of numerous publications, and lectures both nationally and internationally on the subject of pediatric craniofacial anomalies. She is also the Director of the Fellowship for Cleft and Craniofacial Surgery at the Florida Craniofacial Institute, and the Director of the Tampa Bay Cleft and Craniofacial Center.

Victoria Palermo, MD, DDS

Dr. Palermo completed dental and medical school at the State University of New York at Buffalo. She completed her residency in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She is a Fellowship Certified Surgeon. Dr. Palermo is also passionate about providing medical care to underserved populations and has participated in medical, dental and surgical missions to the Appalachian region of the US, Mexico and Vietnam.

OLEG KALSOW, DMD

Dr. Kalsow is a board certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon. He did his residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at prestigious Med- Star Washington Hospital Center. His surgical residency had a strong focus on orthognathic surgery, facial trauma, and maxillofacial pathology. Dr. Kalsow is trained in oral and maxillofacial surgery as well as facial cosmetic surgery, putting him in a position to treat the aesthetics of the face. He excels in dentoalveolar surgery and dental implants, but loves working with patients to enhance facial aesthetics with botox, fillers and surgical options.

Mohammed EL-RABBANY, DDS, MS, PHD, FRCDC

Dr. Mohamed El-Rabbany is an Oral Maxillofacial and Pediatric Craniofacial Surgeon. He has particular expertise in TMJ, corrective jaw surgery, facial trauma, and maxillofacial reconstructive and implant surgeries. In addition to his surgical practice, Dr. El-Rabbany also has a passion for research. Having completed both his Master’s and PhD degrees in Clinical Epidemiology from McMaster University and the University of Toronto respectively, Dr. El-Rabbany continues to enrich his practice by contributing to the scientific literature.

It is imperative to utilize a multidisciplinary approach to maximize outcomes in surgical CranioMaxillofacial deformities.
